‘The Crew’: Kapil Sharma joins cast of Kareena Kapoor Khan, Tabu, Kriti Sanon-starrer

• The upcoming film The Crew was already big ever since producers Rhea Kapoor and Ekta Kapoor named the star cast.
• The film will feature Kareena Kapoor Khan, Tabu and Kriti Sanon and now, it is said that the ladies will be joined by comedian-actor Kapil Sharma
• Although nothing has come out officially, it is believed that Sharma will play an important role in the film. Apart from them, Punjabi actor-singer Diljit Dosanjh is also part of the film

The upcoming film The Crew was already big ever since producers Rhea Kapoor and Ekta Kapoor named the star cast. The film will feature Kareena Kapoor Khan, Tabu and Kriti Sanon and now, it is said that the ladies will be joined by comedian-actor Kapil Sharma. Although nothing has come out officially, it is believed that Sharma will play an important role in the film. Apart from them, Punjabi actor-singer Diljit Dosanjh is also part of the film.

The comedy film will be based on the struggling airline industry and is co-produced by Balaji Motion Pictures Limited and Anil Kapoor Productions, and it is directed by Rajesh Krishnan. The movie is scheduled to begin filming by the end of March 2023.

Last month, Sanon opened up about working with Khan and Tabu. She said that she is excited as she is finally getting to work with women she adores. She stated that The film is quirky and fun and has got a lot to do with the camaraderie of the three women.

“It is very well written; it is very funny and has a thrill element to it as well. Obviously because Rhea is attached to it, it is going to look very good. Rajesh’s Lootcase was so fresh and funny. I am looking forward to finally getting to work with women who I have admired as actors, just play off them and have a good time. I will start the film by March end.” she continued.

On the work front, Sharma was last seen in the Hindi drama film Zwigato which was released on March 17, 2023.  The film Nandita Das film also had actress Shahana Goswami as the lead. Zwigato debuted at the Toronto Worldwide Film Celebration, in 2022.
